The mifare desfire 4k card has a unique combination of features that make it the ideal solution for access control cards, public transportation tickets and customer loyalty cards. It combines fast communication with flexible memory organization and is Common Criteria EAL5+ security certified for smart card IC products.

The mifare DESfire chip uses 3DES and AES hardware cryptographic engines to protect transmission data. A mutual 3-pass authentication technique and on-chip backup management system guarantee data integrity for all applications.

The mifare desfire 4k operates in accordance with ISO 14443A and is Newbega RFID Card equipped with advanced features such as a 4Kbyte non-volatile memory, a high speed triple-DES data encryption coprocessor, a flexible memory organization structure, an on-chip backup management system, a mutual three pass authentication technique and an automatic anti-tear mechanism that guarantee transaction oriented data integrity. It is Common Criteria EAL5+ secured, offering the same level of security certification as demanded by smart card IC products used for banking cards or electronic passports.

Featuring 3DES and modern AES encryption, these programmable contactless cards can store up to 28 different application files with 32 file configurations per application. Designed with a simple application directory structure, the card can also be moderated to follow ISO/IEC 7816-4 commands.

Featuring a 3DES encoding algorithm, the DESFire EV1 chip offers high contactless security and protection against unauthorized reading and writing of data. Its on-chip backup management system and mutual three-pass authentication ensure transaction-oriented data integrity. The DESFire EV1 chip supports up to 28 different applications with 32 files per application. The size of each file is defined when the application is created.

The MIFARE DESFire EV3 sets the bar even higher for security levels in proximity transactions. It is Common Criteria EAL 5+ security certified, a standard for secure IC products. It is the first contactless IC to implement transaction time verification, protecting against man-in-the-middle attacks. Moreover, the DESFire EV3 is equipped with mifare desfire 4k advanced crypto algorithms to protect against spoofing and replay attacks, and has a security mechanism that prevents the cloning of a device.
