FUN’IKI is a Japanese manufacturer of intelligent sunglasses. They are capable of providing useful information about your smartphone in real-time. Fun’IKI glasses have embedded LEDs and a light sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness. There’s also a beep that reveals when a notification arrives. These funky glasses are powered by USB rechargeable Li-ion batteries.

Amazon Echo Frame
The Amazon Echo Frames are a pair of high tech glasses that are designed to help users answer phone calls, play music and receive notifications. These smart glasses are the company’s latest attempt to integrate technology into a piece of eyewear.
For starters, they are designed to work with the Alexa smartphone app. You can control the glasses’ volume using a small touchpad located on the right temple. Vuzix Smart Glasses M100
Vuzix Corporation is a company based in Rochester, NY that provides solutions for wearable display devices. The glasses have a built-in HD camera for video capture and a microphone, along with a gyroscope and accelerometer. They also have Wi-Fi connectivity and can connect to most standard networks.
At CES 2013, the glasses won the Innovations Award. Vuzix plans a retail launch of the M100 this summer. The company is currently shipping a limited number of SDKs to developers. Several developers have already ordered multiple development kits to accelerate their work.
Despite its small display, the Vuzix Smart Glasses M100 can deliver a rich experience. It offers a full-color, floating eyepiece display with a 16:9 WQVGA resolution, which is equivalent to the screen on a 4-inch smartphone at 14 inches away.
In addition, the M100 has a powerful processor and 4GB of onboard memory, which allows it to run thousands of applications. There is also a built-in GPS, HD camera, virtual display and a gyroscope, all powered by a 1GHz OMAP4430 processor.
Aside from the hardware, Vuzix is offering a suite of software applications for its glasses. These applications will allow users to control the device by using voice commands. Another application, Cyber Eyez, will let users magnify objects and read text in more than 100 languages.
While the glasses are not available for consumers, they are expected to sell for less than $500. This is a reasonable price considering that the device is a smart, interactive eyewear that is capable of running Android applications and serves up the digital world hands-free.
